The notice of Hangzhou senior high school entrance examination in 2024 was released! There are two changes.

Today, the Education Bureau of Hangzhou issued the Notice on the Enrollment of Senior High Schools in Hangzhou in 2024 (Hangzhou Jiaoji [2024] No.2).

In 2024, the enrollment of senior high schools in Hangzhou (referring to Shangcheng District, Gongshu District, Xihu District, Binjiang District, Qiantang District and Xihu Scenic Area, the same below) mainly changed as compared with 2023:

First, from 2024, five subjects, including Chinese, mathematics, English, science and society (including morality and rule of law, history and society, the same below), will adopt provincial unified examination questions and scores. Among them, the society will continue to open books in 2024 and 2025, and will close books in 2026.

Second, the quota allocation enrollment is no longer recommended by junior high schools, but is changed by qualified students to fill in the quota allocation enrollment school volunteers independently before the entrance examination (in 2024, up to four quota allocation enrollment school volunteers can be filled in), and admission will be made by school according to the "parallel volunteer" admission rules.

Volunteering to fill in this year also needs attention. Candidates who apply for the first and second batches of schools (majors) with integrated enrollment, quota allocation enrollment and centralized and unified enrollment should fill in the corresponding enrollment volunteers in the above enrollment stages (batches) at one time before the middle school entrance examination.
