It is preliminarily determined that the enterprise has some environmental violations, such as using concealed pipes to smuggle organic dye wastewater, burying suspected hazardous wastes without authorization, and storing hazardous wastes through seepage wells. At present, the Environmental Protection Department of Hebei Province has completed the investigation and evidence collection and will be punished according to law. The public security organs of Xingtai City have criminally detained four persons in charge of the enterprise and those directly responsible according to law.

　　In March this year, some people reported that Guangzhou Haitao Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. had the problem of illegal dumping of sludge. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment sent an undercover investigation team, and it was found that Haitao Company’s main business was sewage treatment and recycling. At night, the company transported the sludge to a construction site for dumping and covered it with earthwork. The sludge transported every day is about 15 trips, and each trip is about 20 tons. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment has handed over the evidence to the Guangdong Provincial Environmental Protection Department, instructing it to conduct a comprehensive law enforcement inspection of the company, and will carry out special inspections on this issue in the near future.
